APPROVAL OF THE AFFILIATION AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE SCHOOL BOARD OF SARASOTA COUNTY, FLORIDA, ('SCHOOL') AND HCA HEALTH SERVICES OF FLORIDA, INC. D/B/A BLAKE MEDICAL CENTER ('HOSPITAL')
Description
The School offers to enrolled students a Health Occupation program in the field of Practical Nursing and Surgical Technology and the Hospital operates a comprehensive acute-care medical-surgical facility. The School desires to provide to its students a clinical learning experience through the application of knowledge and skills in actual patient-centered situations in a health care facility and the Hospital has agreed to make its facility available to the School Board for such purposes.
Recommendation
That the Affiliation Agreement between the School Board of Sarasota County, Florida ('School') and HCA Health Services of Florida, Inc. d/b/a Blake Medical Center ('Hospital') be approved.
